Jake Shepherd has just won the MENA Golf tournament in Morrocco as per below:- "Young Englishman beats McNamara in a sudden-death playoff to win the season-ending event as Morocco's Marjan tops Order of Merit for amateurs AL AIN, Oct 19 – Jake Shepherd produced an inspired performance to win the MENA Golf Tour Championship, beating a charging Sean McNamara in a sudden-death playoff at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club on Wednesday. The 21-year-old professional from England birdied the first playoff hole (the par-5, 18th)from four feet after both the players carded an identical 12-under-par 201 to register the biggest victory of his career since turning professional in January earlier this year." Mr Azad Miah, the co owner of Amani Restaurant in Sanderstead, was awarded 'Young Restaurateur of the Year' at the Asian Curry Awards 2011 on Sunday night at the Lancaster Hotel in London. Paul and Christine were there to see Azad collect his award. Well Done Azad!
We are pleased to advise that Sabrina is joining the Practice today. Sabrina will work at The Warlingham Green Clinic from 4-8pm on a Tuesday. 'Sabrina has a Master in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy. She treats adult, children and expectant mothers using a variety of osteopathic techniques, which include structural and cranial Osteopathy. Having a keen interest in treating infants and children, Sabrina is currently completing a post-graduate training towards a Master qualification in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children. Sabrina is also a qualified and experienced sport massage therapist.' We would like to welcome back Martine who is returning to Cheyne Walk,until Christmas, on a Tuesday beginning 27th September covering 3pm until 8pm for 1:1 pilates sessions. We also have Susan and Whitney at Cheyne Walk on a Tuesday for 1:1 sessions too. (appointments available from 10am through to 8pm) and Julie at Warlingham Green from 5pm to 8pm doing both 1:1 and classes. We have Rob available at Warlingham Green on a Wednesday 10am until 2pm, both 1:1 and classes are available and Eve is in Cheyne Walk on a Thursday covering 3pm until 8pm (1:1 sessions) On Saturdays we have Jo at Warlingham Green , available from 10am until 2pm for 1:1 and classes. Gary Orr was on course to end his 11 year wait for a third European Tour title as he moved two shots clear during the final round of the KLM Open. The Scot, playing on a medical exemption after being plagued by back problems last season, claimed both his previous vistories back in 2000. Everyone at the clinic and many of the patients would like to wish Mark Bolton and Martine McDonnell heartfelt congratulations on their up and coming nuptials on 25th August 2011 in Northern Ireland. Mark is one of our Osteopaths at the clinc and Martine, a pilates teacher, here until very recently. We wish them both well and many many happy years together and hopefully the weather will be a bit better then it has been here recently. All our love and Best Wishes to them both
